One lot of Whole Foods 365 ashwagandha recalled for possible Salmonella

Vitality Works Inc. recalled one lot of 365 Whole Foods Market Standardized + Full Spectrum Blend Ashwagandha Capsules on October 30 for possible Salmonella contamination. Check the bottom of the white 120-count bottle for lot 2025-26227, expiration 10/13/2028, and UPC 9948252099 — only that lot is recalled. It sold November 24, 2025 through October 20, 2026 at Whole Foods stores in 30 states plus D.C., including Texas, and on Amazon.com. No illnesses have been reported, and the problem was found through routine sampling of a single retail unit. Do not take it — throw it away (do not return it to the store), get a refund at any Whole Foods, or call Vitality Works at (505) 268-9950, Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Mountain Time.
